Marika has been a home-owner in Hamilton Green for nine years and was honored to be elected to the HOA Board in 2026. She ran on the platform that she cares about keeping our community well-
maintained, financially responsible, and a great place to live.
She bring years of leadership experience, including 10 years on the executive board of the Metrolina Theatre Association and the Theatre Guild board for Northwest School of the Arts, where her children attended school. Professionally, she owns a financial technology company and has 27 years of experience in financial services, with a strong background in technology, planning, and project management.
Outside of work, she enjoys theater and crafting. In 2012 she founded a professional theater company in
Ballantyne sponsored by the YMCA. She served on the production management team of the Carolina
Renaissance Festival for 8 years. Marika lives in Hamilton Green with her husband, her son, and two very silly
English bull terriers.

Susan Durich moved into Hamilton Green in 2017. She joined the board of directors in 2019 and after a brief hiatus of two months, she has been a board member ever since.
You may have seen her at our many social events setting up tables, coordinating games and prizes, hanging decorations. Or at board meetings, helping to deliver important information. You may have noticed her working around the swimming pool, planting flowers, cleaning up the parking lot, or restocking the rest rooms. She may have made sure that your cabana reservation was secure.
Maybe you have seen her rolling the trash to the curb, or rolling it back to the lot. Or, driven by while she was placing yard sale signs at the entrances.
You could have spotted her changing the messages on the bulletin board at the pool. You might have spoken to her on occasions when she was taking a walk. She carries dog biscuits for neighborhood pups, even though she does not have a dog.
She has worked with vendors such as Swim Club, Duke Energy, City of Charlotte, our landscapers to name a few; all to keep our community in top shape. Why, you ask? It is because she loves living here.
Great community
Great people
Steve bought his home on Grove Creek Lane in 2006 and has served on the HOA Board for the past 3 years. Early in his career he started and ran a successful small business. He sold that business and then transitioned into project management and system implementation. Retired now, he enjoys the variety of work required as a member of the HOA Board. A new wife prompted his move from the neighborhood in 2013, and he has rented his home since then, however he maintains close ties to the community and visits the neighborhood one to two times per week for association business. He enjoys travel, hiking, and spending as much time as possible with his wife, Kathleen, and his children and grandchildren.

Cheri Boisvert has lived in the community since 2024 and is excited to assist on the board to help build our neighborhood value with future improvements, upcoming events and basic participation. Her professional background includes Office Management, Accounting, Real Estate Sales and Rental Properties Owner, which she plans to leverage to help in the organization and facilitation of common goals of the community.
